To recognize and celebrate donors who choose to include UNM in their estate plans, the UNM Foundation created the New Horizons Society (NHS) — a community of alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends who are united by a shared commitment to the university’s future.
Estate gifts come in many forms and sizes, and each gift matters. A few examples include:
- A provision in your will or trust
- A beneficiary designation on a bank account, retirement plan, or life insurance policy
- A charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust that provides lifetime income
